Spiritual Shaming : A Recommended Leave-Behind for Bright Living

With the rise of social media, spiritual shaming has been a frequent session discussion.

Spiritual shaming is the spiritual arrogance of telling someone how they should blueprint their journey — this is an inherent shame-based exercise.

When someone else tries to “fix” you or tell you what to do, it becomes a level of arrogance that isn’t easily navigated around.

It's important to note that what many judge as others' misalignment is actually quite a necessary step for growth and expansion on the road to one's highest version of self.

Spiritual arrogance has for all of time been at the forefront of most conflict causing unrest and war but we're now seeing it creep insidiously and repeatedly into the mainstream human experience.

People sometimes have the mis-guided belief that if someone is going through a tough time it must mean they’re not vibrating at a high frequency. What they fail to observe is that when Spirit sets up a journey for a human experience, it does so because it can, it does so for a reason. All types of experiences are necessary on the evolutionary scale of emotion.

HUMAN JOURNEY

When a person is going through the dark night of the soul, it is the greatest value of lesson for enlightenment. A few historical examples include:

  • The story of the Dali Lama thrown into poverty.

  • The story of Gabriel — hiding in caves — channeling an angel.

  • Jesus — crucified and facing off with the angels

  • Job was boiled in oil being tested by God

Can you imagine what society would say to the masters now — they all created enlightenment through great personal trauma and they have all illustrated that what matters is what you do with the lessons of the trauma for that is what creates shifts in the human experience.

Some beings simply sign up for deeper darker journeys than others — it’s not about how long you stay in the darkness. Dark nights of the soul actually CREATE the evolution.

We all must go through the darkness to understand the light. And to pull ourselves up to the higher frequencies, we must learn to harness the light available to us all. Learning to achieve these frequencies is the only way to circumvent spiritual shaming.

THREE QUESTIONS IF YOU FEEL SPIRITUALLY SHAMED

Why am I not being allowed to feel my journey?

Why were emotions created in the first place — they are guideposts?

How can I openly feel it to heal it?
